IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
This is the most comfortable, virtually pain-free microneedling treatment available. Every effort is made to ensure it is a painless experience for you, and the actual treatment is quite quick. The use of topical anaesthetic creams prior to treatment can ensure minimal to no pain for those concerned.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. Application of Cover Recover™ will seal and heal the skin and cover any redness for an immediate return to work.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR REJUVENATION, ACNE SCARRING AND STRETCH MARKS?
Rejuvenation*: 3-6 treatments 6-8 weeks apart
Acne scarring: 4-6 treatments 6-8 weeks apart
Stretch marks: 4-8 treatments 6-8 weeks apart
Pigmentation: 4-6 treatments 2-4 weeks apart
*Superficial treatments maybe recommended at 4 weekly intervals
HOW LONG UNTIL I START TO SEE RESULTS?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 3 to 6 treatments (spaced 2-8 weeks apart). The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.
HOW SOON AFTER TREATMENT CAN I HAVE OTHER BEAUTY AND/OR INJECTABLE TREATMENTS?
Generally speaking I recommend waiting 2 weeks before undergoing any other treatments as your skin may still be very sensitive and healing. For injectables- these need to be booked 2 weeks either side of treatment.
